Since 2007 when members of the club decided (due to global warming and public transport difficulties) to return to playing the conventional game, the CXCC has dedicated itself to providing cricket playing opportunities for all: the young and not so young, the hopeless and the brilliant. We are a multicultural collection and have a membership and associate membership of people from around twenty nations.

More than occasionally, certain members of the CXCC can be found propping up the bar at select drinking establishments in Cologne, demonstrating their allround sporting expertise and willingness to offer officials of any and every sport the benefit of their insight.
